Can you install a garbage disposal in the sink on board a yacht?

Sure you can.. but you DO KNOW that if you discharge it directly overboard you CAN and probably WILL be fined for POLLUTION... right? And don't think nobody will notice.. when I am cleaning a hull, one of the things I am looking for is the sign that 'stuff' is being pumped directly overboard into the marina and I WILL report it to the marina office.. YOU may like living in a SEWER but I certainly don't and when people pump their garbage into the marina.. I get a bit more than mildly upset.
