Ferguson appliances?

Bought a portable DVD player last year and the battery has died on it and it's less than 12 months old! Is there any way of contacting the company for details about the life of these batteries, as our local electrical retailer hasn't got a clue! Have looked on the web for an address but can't find anything! Thanks for any help :)
