Why I can't connect my HTC Inspire to the PC ?

I already put the phone in HTC Sync and tried Disk Driver mode but nothing works , nothing change on the PC as well as the phone , people said that try checking the USB Debugging box but seems that it's not working for me too , when I plug it in the phone just keep charging and do nothing , please help me...
