Allergies in a 6 month ol?

My daughter gets a runny nose and red, watery eyes pretty often. It seems to be worse if shes outside a lot, or inside without the AC on. I asked her dr., and she said a 6th month old doesn't have "allergies". I don't know what to do for her, bc i havent found any otc meds i can give her for it. her dr. said saline drops and to suction her nose a lot, but it doesnt help in the long run. Does anyone have a baby with the same problem? it isnt from her food, she didnt start getting like this until recently, and it doesnt get worse or go away depending on her diet. we do have a dog, could she be allergic to him? or have hay fever? Its always worse on humid days also. The only thing i can think of is allergies. I have them, and her father does too. Any advice?? i'd really appreciate it.
