If I were to use a photoshop CS2, how can i achieve the "partial color" effect on my pictures?

I want to achieve the partial color effect on my photograph using Photoshop CS2. It's something like everything is in black and white exept for a particular object which is in full color. Any idea how can I achieve this? Thanks in advance!
